Free program for City of Dallas residents with incomes below $35,000/year.
Because our funds are limited and demand is high, we ask
that only those
City of Dallas residents who cannot afford
to sterilize their pet(s) submit
an application. This program
is for spay/neuter only and pain medication
for your pet.
Any additional veterinarian vaccinations/expenses are the
responsibility of the pet owner.
Neuter = Male sterilization
Spay = Female sterilization
Qualifications:
- Must be the owner of the animal to be spayed
or neutered. - Must make less than $35,000 per year.
- Does not cover feral cats.
- Must reside in City of Dallas. Highest priority
will be given to the following zip codes:
75203, 75211, 75212, 75216, 75217, 75224, 75227,
75228, 75232, 75233, 75236,
75237, 75241, 75253
MAC's spay/neuter program is not available
to Dallas
residents receiving public assistance. Pet owners in
Dallas who
are currently receiving public assistance
may get their pets spayed or neutered
free through
the City of Dallas program.
