About Patt Davis
Patt Davis founded the Garland Humane Society in 1971, which later became the Humane Society of Greater Dallas, an organization focused on animal cruelty investigation. Mrs. Davis was a constant advocate in animal rights arenas and was active in numerous animal welfare organizations, including the Texas Humane Legislation Network.
Mrs. Davis was a valued Board Member of M•A•C, contributing her invaluable guidance and expertise during our early years. Upon her death in March of 2004, M•A•C received a $30,000 bequest from the Humane Society of Greater Dallas for our free spay/neuter program for low-income residents of the City of Dallas, which was subsequently renamed in her honor.
Patt Davis is greatly missed.
