Help for Helpless Animals

Call 972-424-4860 for reduced cost or free spay/neuter vouchers on a case-by-case basis. The pet owner must use a participating veterinarian. Vaccination assistance may also be available on a case-by-case basis.

Protective Animal League (PAL)

Call PAL at 817-679-0817 and leave a message with your information. A reduced price coupon and a veterinarian list is mailed to you.

You must use a participating
veterinarian and call in advance for an appointment.

Cats
Neuter - $25

Dogs
$20 - $50 depending on size

Dogs weighing more than 50 lbs. need to call the participating veterinarian for the cost.

Most participating Veterinarians require at a minimum current rabies vaccinations prior to the surgery. If you do not bring proof of rabies vaccination with you to the surgery appointment, they will require your pet to have a rabies shot before they perform the surgery.
